You and your new partner are sent on your first case. Set on a remote private island, things are not what they seem to be, and there will be many twists and turns until the dangerous mystery is revealed.

You are centred in the mansion, and have to go to different locations within the mansion, until you get to the Bonus game. The bonus game is a continuation of the story, and not a lame prequel as happens so often. But upon closer inspection it becomes clear that they harbor animosities and deep hidden motives. They don't use random glyphs for runes. There were some cute gargoyles in one part that I liked, especially the incorporation of one of the mini-games using the gargoyles. I for one will be more than happy to play this game and find out! Great sound effects, and graphics. Nothing extremely hard, but not numbingly easy. With the exception of some buggy controls meaning hot spots didn't show up easily, I played without any trouble and was sorry to see it end. One can only do so many spirits and realms. But the more you delve into this secluded island and the twisted family relations of the owners, the more complicated and unclear this case becomes. So what does this game have? I am sidekick to a great detective - who usually leaves all the work to me, but that's alright, because I'm good at it. It's like they don't really want to promote it!   3. The game as a whole is excellent though, with lots of clues and a meandering path to find the truth. What I noticed straight off, was why such a skimpy game description? No lags or glitches during play. You do all the work as usual, the Inspector just interviews everyone, you have to find out how and why the guy turns up dead, I'm sorry about then lack of name, I just can't remember it , it's a twist in the tale. I did use the map sometimes, because once in awhile there was an object in the inventory that wasn't used for awhile and I had to travel back through several scenes to find where it went.
