There are hidden secrets in this town and a masked mayor who keeps its inhabitants under surveillance, using robots to imprison them within its borders. The flow was fair at best. I feel this game would stand on its own merit without this gimmicky pooch; however, I know there is a huge fan base for Elf. However, alas! I've only done the demo but won't be bothering to go any further - this could be any game, there's nothing "Mystery Trackers" about it - and the game itself is bland at best. A genetic mutation that could result in deadly consequences! Not once did I have to play dress up and place valuable jewelry upon a solid granite statue who, out of sheer gratitude, extends a granite arm to hand me a much-needed inventory item, how nice : I did, however, have some issues with the game freezing up on 3 serarate occasions! Nevertheless, there are matching, storybook, and pattern scenes as well.
I thought the gameplay lacked originality. Yes, we do a lot of back tracking in this game, so the transport is a real time saver. Also, returning to the same scenes over and over again gave me a headache. Well done. Elephant Games has done an excellent job with the CE Morphing Objects, they are small objects that don't look out of place, and they morph at just the right speed to make them obscure. You cannot retrace your steps. Good storyline, good pace, nice graphics, overall fun game. Of course I play the game with the sparkles turned off so I am not having the constant sparkle hints indicating active areas. Hello friends! Some residents have developed unique skills, such as enhanced hearing, proclivity for certain branches of Science, night vision, the ability to heal themselves and even others. Please try the Demo. As always, I review mostly on the game play and leave the story line to others. Agent Elf does his Mystery Trackers duties doodies? I probably wouldn't play MT games if Elf wasn't included, technically, Elf is only 7 years old because he didn't become an Agent until Black Isle, so we should be good for a while.

Our ever faithful Elf is back with us, helping as much as he can. There is a Helper, but this time it's a good thing because Mystery Trackers wouldn't be the same without the help of that adorable MinPin, Agent Elf! I completed the entire CE version and the game does have a lot to offer. Good hint button though. Wasn't bad but there was no logic to many of the tasks. Elf disappears and is no where to be seen! You go through the trouble of nearly killing yourself to get to a destination and to have to return to the previous areas more than once is ludicrous! In The Fall of Iron Rock you have been sent to the town of Iron Rock to see if you can find agent Redford who disappeared while investigating reports of town residents who possessed paranormal abilities.
I probably wouldn't play MT games if Elf wasn't included, technically, Elf is only 7 years old because he didn't become an Agent until Black Isle, so we should be good for a while. The chapter is of decent length. There twice as much but not worth it to me then. The story wasn't anything new or exciting really. Voiceovers were good; storyline was interesting.
