The Baron himself was one of those suitors who wanted Nina for his own, he even ordered his servants to do whatever it took to assure that Charlie would never returns to Nina's loving arms. One could say the same about The Nutcracker Suite. There was magic, there was cuteness, there was love I have no issue. My favorite part is how they involve the author, once again, in the story itself. Felt a bit foolish for being so obtuse. The poor Nutcracker has been turned into a toy once again, but by now he's probably used to it! This story definitely stands alone in its own right. They also didn't have an indication of when they could be used, which is what I wanted to see. I was not a big fan of the little adventure stories that you had to move through, I did not like the plain paper backdrop, I prefer the ones that have little colorful stages that you move things onto. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Gesneramor from The Best of the Christmas Stories so far I am pretty new to doing hidden object games, so take my review with a grain of salt. Perfect blend of 2D animation. Another Christmas Story game that cannot be missed!
It was used sparingly but each time it was used was great. The backstory was exciting and added that little something to stop this from being an all out cutesy, which definitely would not have sat well with me. I especially liked how they ended with puzzles. There was nothing notably innovative or unique in Tin Soldier, but it did manage to entertain us from the beginning to the end. The Rat King has turned three innocent lives into toys once again; help guide your old friend, The Nutcracker and your new pal, Tin Soldier on the mission to rescue Mary, the Ballerina from the evil Baron and his fellow. So while I will spend a long time figuring out how to make the triangles move properly, I do not want to click all over the page trying to find out what to do next. No oozing garbage smelly horrors. I got stumped sometimes, but it wasn't so hard as to be discouraging. Note that your post won't be visible right away: our team checks it before we post it publicly. The puzzles were a delight to play and made me start to like something I have always hated. This, combined with additional features and overall smoothness of the game's flow, made the adventure component extremely fun. I admit to some frustration around knowing what to do and where to go, but the hint is forthcoming on that score.

But then again, less HOS means more adventure. Map- The map was very helpful and set out well. This game is perfect to put me in the Holiday spirits. Overall, near perfect gameplay, which was almost impossible to fault. The result of the game is that it is full and rich and pleasant to play with nasty little green guys to defeat. It's a classic hog just don't expect much difficulty or challenge. This is perfect; I wish more games would do this, as it made me motivated to complete them. At the same time, the character Hermes: War of the Gods Collectors Edition are probably the liveliest and smoothest we have seen from Elephant Games — even though we felt like there was an excess use of unnecessary animations, the characters were really cute indeed. The theme Christmas Stories: Hans Christian Andersens Tin Soldier light-hearted and fitting for everyone in the family. Its cute, its fun, its very, very good and I was sad when it ended. Seriously, I've underestimated how much plot depth a fantasy story can have. If I had to pick something wrong with the story, I would say that maybe they should have spiced up the excitement a little bit more- there were a couple of times where I was bored- but other than that, nothing's wrong. A cameo person makes it awesome, and the little mouse family is gorgeous. Discuss with other players! The custom difficulty was okay, with a bit to customise, but I was happy with advanced. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by pennmom36 from Christmas Classic! All scenes, especially cutscenes, were clear and designed beautifully. Although I am not into Xmas at all, I like the game quite a lot because it has so many interesting things to do. The additional features have been done fantastically. Apart from the main puzzles, Tin Soldier also featured a variety of mini-puzzles. Furthermore, the character designs were probably the most brilliant I've seen. If I wanted to watch a movie, I'd do so. It's a classic hog just don't expect much difficulty or challenge. I tend to play for the Holiday theme hog and not so much for story.
There was nothing notably innovative or unique in Tin Soldier, but it did manage to entertain us from the Exorcist to the end. Other than that, the visuals on this game is lovely. The Hidden Object Scenes are stunning, with Christmas themed items, some are silhouetted shapes to find, interactive list finds that expose puzzle pieces that you swap to complete a picture and Loco Mogul moving items two at a time trying to find matching pairs. I also really liked the 2 bonus plays. I played Advanced. They are drawn with such finesse and beautiful detail, with a vast array colours, which really showed off the Christmasy theme.
Quick restarting hints is a plus. Apart from the main puzzles, Tin Soldier also featured a variety of mini-puzzles. Tin Soldier is undoubtedly a very busy game, with lots of locations to visit, countless things to collect and multiple tasks to be completed at the same time. The game I have played has both enthralled me and left me awaiting a sequel. Another real good thing about this game is that the items are labeled when you hover over them, so if you are not sure what you are looking at, it tells you. There was magic, there was cuteness, there was love As weird as it sounds, each puzzle was better than the last. In this series:. I also really liked the interaction in the game. The HOS were a perfect example of this. Either way you're in for a magical adventure, enjoy! Most of them helped advance the story in some very interesting ways, and a number of them are remarkably unique. Full of fun, different puzzles.
