Part of the fun and challenge for me was moving from room to room to explore and make certain you've gathered all 51 of 52 cards until your final scene where you collect the very last card of the deck. The Game is very good. This game has my favorite musical sound track, the music always makes me want to twirl around the room did I say that I LOVE the music in this game! The puzzles are fun without being impossible, and I wanted so much to catch that devilish little guy running around throughout the game! Overall, though, LOTS of fun. I do like the game though. I rather liked this variety. The graphics are good - the story is sound - the added feature of collecting cards adds to your overall interest in the game and the hidden object scenes are EASY so you can get on with the gameplay - personally I enjoy the interaction far more than hidden object scenes. Just one downer for me at the end of the game - you cannot play the bonus or get to the "extras" until you complete the game which includes finding all 52 cards - I ended up with one missing - read through the strategy guide and still could not access it - it could be because the window on the scene closed with the card in it. There is a lot of back-and-forth movement. Great way to spend an afternoon. If you started off and then wanted to change your mind and start over, you couldn't. Good for brain memory exercise. The storyline grabbed me from the opening scene. My only complaint is that you only get to play the bonus game the one time.

This could really come in handy if you're a gambler. The Hidden Object scenes were clear and easy to see, and several had interactive items in them. The second downside, for me anyway, is that I KNEW which room I had to go to - it was just a challenge sometimes to get there. Good for brain memory exercise. There is a deck of "enchanted" cards you must collect along with other objects within the game. In this game you will collect cards, and that was also fun trying to find all of them. My only complaint is that you only get to play the bonus game the one time. It would have been nice if the 'hint' button could give some sort of direction. Review based on Standard finished game play. Others have gone into detail; so, I am posting to,basially, express my opinion, I DO recommend this game. Don't watch the game video which spoils the ending somewhat. As the detective you will explore several rooms in the old mansion and also surrounding areas plus the town. As for the SG, I was somewhat annoyed because when you check a page and return to the game, then go back to the guide, you have to start with the beginning of your chapter and keep clicking till you are up to date. That being said, the graphics are nice, like the story iine, and visiting numerous places. This one was fun and you get your monies worth. NEED to replay it! Hidden Wonders of the Depths 2? Explore an Old Mansion!! This could really come in handy if you're a gambler.   1. At least, I have not been able to figure out how to access it again. Review based on Standard finished game play. I was able to block from my mine that Full Screen and Wide screen are the same size with this game, small.

  2. The scenes are really neat and there are lots of rooms and different areas to travel back and forth too. In this game you will collect cards, and that was also fun trying to find all of them. I love the HOS's because they are beautifully painted. Review based on Standard finished game play. I love the game alot and have already played it from start to finish several times.
