There is a nice variety in the HOPS with some scenes being better than others. One of my favorites from this game involves a scene with a globe in which items which represent various countries must be placed in the proper location on this globe. Though I would like to include some more info in my review, it doesn't seem necessary anymore since other reviewers always give such lengthy and thorough descriptions. There are seventeen 17 HOP scenes. No real challenge on easy mode. The Secret City series is one that I continue to enjoy as played through each of the previous games. One I really appreciate is the indicator bar in each scene containing a collectible. My kind of game but it may or may not be yours; just try the demo to get the feel of it. There are honestly not many big problems with this game and is overall a great game. Play on! There are twenty-three 23 mini-games. I think most all levels of players will find this one interesting. Domini Games always provides more game for the money, providing extras no other developer provides, including the ability to play the game in a relaxed mode or in one which is a little more challenging.

There are five 5 HOP scenes and six 6 mini-games within the chapter. I definitely recommend "Chalk of Fate". But they are awesome reviews and writing a good, really helpful review takes a lot of time. Not quite sure what the "chalk" is yet. Have yet to get into the Bonus Chapter to see what my detective skills can accomplish with another baddie to defeat. I never feel slighted with a game from this developer. The scenes vary in style with some which are very creatively designed. It also indicates where we may have missed a collectible. The voice-overs are always excellent. There is a nice variety in the HOPS with some scenes being better than others. One I really appreciate is the indicator bar in each scene containing a collectible. We had sound FX when we used or received an item, but not much else during the game, except the music. The puzzles had no challenge what so ever and took me no time to finish.

The scenes were full of interesting things that I love taking my time inspecting, the colors were rich and appropriate to the story. But they are awesome reviews and writing a good, really helpful review takes a lot of time. The final solution still made no sense and I imagine that I might not be the only one to skip this puzzle. One of my favorites from this game involves a scene with a globe in which items which represent various countries must be placed in the proper location on this globe. They aren't irritatingly overdone. The hidden object scenes were interactive and very clever and you had the option to play the match-three game as an alternative. This is one my all time favorite maps. Have yet to get into the Bonus Chapter to see what my detective skills can accomplish with another baddie to defeat. Sakir has again engaged you, detective, to help retrieve an artifact, this time from his friend, Almerra. Excellent animation, with eye and mouth movements and smooth body movements as well. Happy gaming! Rotate 5 rings on a cryptex to create paths for 3 hooks to reach their matching slots on the other end. We don't have much character interaction, but we are constantly on the move.

Now, we have a real big difference between what I think a statuette is and what they think it is. The scenes were full of interesting things that I love taking my time inspecting, the colors were rich and appropriate to the story. I just hate not finding them all. If you enjoyed the other games in the Secret City series, then you will most likely enjoy Chalk of Fate. The puzzles and minigames were fun, not difficult really but there were a few that were thought-provoking and required patience. HOGs are varied and well done with silhouettes, highlighted Vacation Quest: Australia, place pieces in scene and interactive HOGs. As always, I review mostly on the game play and leave the story to others. Most of the challenge is finding the collectibles. My kind of game but it may or may not be yours; just try the demo to get the feel of it. Highly recommend. Everything was as wonderful as it was in the last installment. Rotate pipes in a water system to create a path for a magnet to reach a key. Try the demo, see how you like it. The easy version has the 2D Mahjong Temple only rotating each of five tumblers until the correct symbol appears. Secret City: Chalk of Fate is a visually-electrifying game that Hello Venice from oversimplified and predictable gameplay.

Hello friends! The final solution still made no sense and I imagine that I might not be the only one to skip this puzzle. It is a fast-paced game taking the player from New York City to the Alps in a quest to recover an ancient artifact. The scenes vary in style with some which are very creatively designed. I highly recommend this game. Sakir has again engaged you, detective, to help retrieve an artifact, this time from his friend, Almerra. Happy gaming! Secret City: Chalk of Fate only took me roughly three hours to complete and the bonus chapter took me another 40 minutes. I just hate not finding them all. Still, moments of illogical development hold the game back from being a truly immersive and thrilling experience. You just have to remember to look for them. That's exactly why I liked it. The map and hint buttons were great.

All of them can be replayed. We have 15 pictures, which are not difficult to find. This is a nice touch I wish more developers would employ within their games. Domini Games always provides more game for the money, providing extras no other developer provides, including the ability to play the game in a relaxed mode or in one which is a TV Farm more challenging. And I typically just take it all in slowly. Domini Games lf us plenty of extras in their CEs and the bonus chapters are usually just as entertaining as the main story. There are Collectirs with morphing objects. Rotate Seret in a water system to create a path for a magnet to reach a key. On a grid, switch arrow Awakening: The Skyward Castle so that Colletors path is created to lead a balloon to its destination while avoiding obstacles within its path. There was a nice variety of things to do which is what I look forward to in a good game. Great addition to the Secret City collection. 1. Many of the HOP scenes contain from two to three scenes which must be switched to locate all the items. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by dancemom1 from Very nice addition These morph quickly and are very small. This seems to be the norm for this Developer. The Secret City series is one that I continue to enjoy as played through each of the previous games.

  2. Save her from an evildoer, Ingvar, who wants this artifact to free his girlfriend, Olivia. Great story ahead, I think! One I really appreciate is the indicator bar in each scene containing a collectible. Domini Games is my favorite developer and this game is another example of gaming excellence!

  4. With this fourth installment, the fantasy hidden object adventure series takes us to the back streets on the New York City, on the hunt for a one-of-a-kind artifact. As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. I just hate not finding them all. You just have to remember to look for them. Rated 5 out of 5 by Italia47 from It's no secret, I loved this game!

  5. They aren't irritatingly overdone. As always with this Developer, we have beautiful colors, very bright but not over powering. I wish more of these mini-games were available to be replayed at the end of the game.

  6. There was a nice variety of things to do which is what I look forward to in a good game. These aren't difficult to find, but easy to overlook. The globe alternates between two sides of the world. That said, I have the need to play this one out. As always, try it for yourself and see what you think.

I found all easy to locate within the scenes. Not just thrown in to lengthen the game. I just finished the CE version and it was wonderful!

  9. This game was so simple it took me less than three hours to complete. The scenery is nice but the story is dull, hollow and really not worth the price. As always with this Developer, we have beautiful colors, very bright but not over powering. Great story ahead, I think!

  10. I never feel slighted with a game from this developer. This developer continues to give us a lot of value for our gaming dollars as they present CE games that are filled with the extras that many have other developers have cut to the bare minimum. I think gamers' opinions are the backbone of success, the developers should seriously pay attention to these reviews. I highly recommend this game.

  11. In all honesty, I don't read them anymore, so I can discover the story for myself. You can also choose not to use this helpful feature if you want even more challenge. A well-planned storyline along with entertaining gameplay kept me involved until I finished the game. That does not necessarily mean that the game is boring since there is plenty of variations with the formats of hidden object scenes and puzzles, there is just not enough creativity and complexity in those aspects that would take this game above the usual run-of-the-mill HOPA game. Highly recommend.
