Length was good. I found this game very entertaining and relaxing to play and I enjoyed it very much. The animations, and art work is great. I play the Custom so I can choose just what I want. All the scenes are either lists of items or silhouette. The matching shell gadget is not used in bonus play. The main portion of the game took me 3 hours Bonus play took me 36 minutes I skipped most the MG, so it would take most people longer. Lead a fish through currents until it reaches the other side of the maze. Travel by balloon to Tahiti to help Princess Hina from the island of Raiatea. They are kept in the extras area to re-watch, and not in a notebook, in-game, like we see from some other dev. All the scenes are either lists of items or silhouette. Length was good. The story was too light and all the pick-up notes looked exactly alike on brown parchment. Now it's up to you to help your former jailers retrieve the ocarina before the monster awakens and ravages the land! The items fitted the environment perfectly, no single safety pin spotted!

Unless the date of at the beginning of the game is wrong, I doubt that a box of matches would be traveling with our young adventurer. I had expectations from this game, when I checked the reviews I was like why so bad? Story line was different with a little goofy interaction between the people. I did not like the fantasy aspect of this game. The items fitted the environment perfectly, no single safety pin spotted! Based on finished game. May the elementals of earth, water, fire, and wind guide you on your adventure. All in all I found this game very enjoyable and I'll no doubt play it again sometime. I loved the demo to this game. I found this game very entertaining and relaxing to play and I enjoyed it very much. You can choose between three levels of difficulty: East, Medium, or Hard. I don't know why this game only has three stars. I did not like the fantasy aspect of this game. If you can put aside your need for accuracy in a game and enjoy it for the entertainment value, then this is a game you will hopefully enjoy as much as I did.

While the graphics and storyline are engaging, the game falls on the shorter end of the spectrum so you may want to go with the Standard Edition for this one.

  8. Although this game has nothing to do with the true history or Myths concerning the Polynesian culture it is still a fun and entertaining game to play. I thought this was a lovely game. There are eight 8 wallpapers plus the usual casual art along with music and video selections.

  9. I noticed at the beginning it looped a lot and for the most part turned it way down to hear environmental sounds. As I mentioned Of Fiends and Fairies and the Heart of Desolation are my two favorite games in the Myths series but Fire from the Deep is much better than some of the more recent offerings from this developer. Now, it's up to you to return the ocarina to the princess before nightfall when she must use it lull the beast who lives under the land to sleep before it awakens and consumes the land in flames. Other than this rather strange puzzle, the rest are excellent.

The game had a fair level of challenge but I very seldom had to use the hint button if I exercised a little patience and thought things through, which is something that I enjoy doing rather than trying to rush through it. The matching shell gadget is not used in bonus play. As for me I did find them enjoyable even though there was nothing new or exciting. I thought this was a lovely game.
