Hidden Expedition: The Pearl of Discord Collectors Edition

Eipix Entertainment presents the next pulse-pounding adventure in the classic series: Hidden Expedition! H.E.L.P. has summoned you to a pearl farm to investigate the theft of a priceless pearl that was once owned by Marco Polo himself. Unfortunately, the acrobatic thief poses a dangerous challenge for you. Armed with new tools from your H.E.L.P. companions, follow the thief's trail across the world! Take back the pearl from a dark organization, before it falls into the wrong hands in this daring hidden-object puzzle adventure game!

Apparently we didn't go back and have him arrested, even though he was still where we left him when we play the bonus chapter. Not only is the long-term rivalry between Marco Polo and the Zambetti family fascinating, but the action-packed events also keep us on the edge of our seats. No, we do not like them but this would be a pretty dull adventure without them in the picture. You go to Venice in the bonus chapter. Touch everything, play with everything in front of you, enjoy all interaction. I liked the game because it was not centered around some weird monster type creature but the warped personality was a human character. Cons: ending a bit abrupt but consistent with the plot. The other reason I enjoyed was it was a game of well intrigue and vengeance that seem present in human nature. Compared to the exciting storyline and the amazing production, the gameplay is slightly disappointing. Another twist on game play: you find the motifs list for one HO before you actually start it. Apart from the usual ones, there are some very unusual ones. The story is interesting.

The characters were super fine and the voices Expecition: superb. The environment is constantly changing, keeping the game fresh from beginning to end. There were moments in the game when I just stopped to appreciated the beauty of this game. Of course if you have the Pwarl game version, there is always the Solitaire Detective: Framed guide to help. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by pgillenw from Truly Enjoyed! Apart from the usual ones, there are some Hidden Expedition: The Pearl of Discord Collectors Edition unusual ones. The main menu is interactive. I only played the demo and my adrenalin is still soaring! You go to Venice in the bonus chapter. Gameplay was absolutely top! The story begins with Marco Polo handing a priceless pearl over to a comrade for safe keeping, in his last moments from his death bed. I didn't regret a single minute during the five hours of Hidden Expedition: The Pearl of Discord it took me that long just to complete the main game and I also enjoyed the bonus chapter just as much. You can even play Around the World the pearls after you have collected them all. The pearl has since been securely kept with the Tayal family until today when the pearl was stolen! The visuals and sound are amazing, as is expected in the Hidden Expedition games.

Tayal a bit distressed to say the least but I always wonder if the characters who are so fond of giving orders have ever heard of the word PLEASE! Of course if you have the full game version, there is always the strategy guide to help. But extremely satisfied and happy and full, like after an exclusive dinner with several courses, all of them cooked and presented to a very high standard. With his last breath he gives his greatest treasure and gift to his friend Peter Tayal. The graphics and other technical attributes are exactly what I have come to expect from the excellent EPIX team. I like the various achievements you can earn and the puzzles are different and fun. Apart from the usual ones, there are some very unusual ones. Right from the start, we battle ninjas, zoom off to Japan, parachute into criminal territory. The visuals and sound are amazing, as is expected in the Hidden Expedition games. In the end, I'm glad I bought it. The characters were super fine and the voices were superb. I liked the game because it was not centered around some weird monster type creature but the warped personality was a human character. Competent to good voice acting, well, there was the guy from Fiji who sounded like he was straight from Mumbai , a good mix of puzzles, some of which were actually challenging.

Starters are served on Fiji, the story unfolds, picks up Atlantis Evolution, you are in the middle of the soup, I mean the action. I only played the demo and my adrenalin is still soaring! I particularly like their Custom Mode that offers more opportunity to set up a game the way Dolphin Dice Slots like to play. Pros: the usual excellent graphics, nearly a travelogue game as these are prone to be. I'll take it! Sam was apparently on vacation in this game and went to Hawaii. You can even play with the pearls after you have collected them all. I didn't get all of the achievements the first time, but I hope to get them all in the next! Highly recommend this game; it's not only fun but with the fact cards you learn something as you do in all Hidden Expeditions HE games.

Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by kraymin from What's not to like, I'll tell you This game is a no brainer because its part of the Hidden Expedition series and they are all excellent. I absolutely love the H. Date published: The non-stop challenges were amazing! Starters are served on Fiji, the story unfolds, picks up speed, you are in the middle of the soup, I mean the action. Fight a ninja, drop into the sea, do a parachute jump, dangle from a rope, ride a speed boat, find clues and useful things on a plane and play with a tarsier, get out of prison, blow glass, dance with a stranger and finally resolve the case. This game did not disappoint for me. I also played the extras game and was entertaining. Gameplay was absolutely top! The main reasons I enjoyed this game was the creative license that ended with a good story. When you arrive at the Tayal Pearl Farm you find Mr. He did show up later, at the end of the main game, but he didn't speak.

I have liked other games better but this is still a five star game. During your adventure you will have your standard HELP kit to assist you. I also love the fact that they include the information cards about the locations that you find as your playing along. The story is interesting. It was just goofy enough to be fun, but seriously? There were moments in the game when I just stopped to appreciated the beauty of this game. The other reason I enjoyed was it was a game of well intrigue and vengeance that seem present in human nature. Graphics could have been a tad more detailed. I really liked the narrative HOG and the others were quite interactive. The assortment of HOGs and puzzles were very satisfying in every way for me, being complex, challenging, interesting. This game did not disappoint for me. The Pearl of Discord is basically a cookie-cutter of most Eipix games; predictable development and somewhat easy tasks. The graphics and other technical attributes are exactly what I have come to expect from the excellent EPIX team. If you're interested, I suggest trying the demo first. In the CE's bonus chapter, we play as another character, not our H.

  1. If you follow this series you will see telltale signs in the background of past games and that makes it even more fun, but if this is your first time playing a game in this series you do not have to have played previous games to enjoy it. Compared to the exciting storyline and the amazing production, the gameplay is slightly disappointing. At any rate you set off on the mission to retrieve the pearl and you may definitely be in over your head on this one.

  2. I have liked other games better but this is still a five star game. If I did have a complaint, it would be my confusion on where the souvenirs were in the game. You can go back after the game and collect everything. Graphics could have been a tad more detailed.

  3. P Expedition games. In the end, I'm glad I bought it. I didn't get all of the achievements the first time, but I hope to get them all in the next! Thank goodness Waradi Tayal called H. The escapades had me so edgy, just rapid fire, one thing after another.

  4. The characters were super fine and the voices were superb. Driving music added to the urgency. Overall, I had a lot of fun playing this game. The non-stop challenges were amazing!

  5. Graphics could have been a tad more detailed. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by timothya from Out Of Breath I'm exhausted - this one was one long chase scene, Fiji to Tokyo to Italy, and if the plot touched on the outlandish occasionally it was all in fun. You can click on both characters and they speak to you. The series is still one of my favorites because I enjoy the Fact Cards and the generally well put together storylines. The story begins with Marco Polo handing a priceless pearl over to a comrade for safe keeping, in his last moments from his death bed.

  6. The intricate artwork is mesmerizing, while the quality of the graphics is second to none. I have liked other games better but this is still a five star game. Even though I love the Hidden Expedition series, I suggest that you try the demo to see if Pearl of Discord is a game you will enjoy. The hops are great and engaging but not too fancy.

  7. The hops are great and engaging but not too fancy. Pros: the usual excellent graphics, nearly a travelogue game as these are prone to be. I also liked how you could play the game of 3 oyster shells and the pearls before each game loads. Be on your toes if you are after all achievements!

  8. Cons: ending a bit abrupt but consistent with the plot. Touch everything, play with everything in front of you, enjoy all interaction. Date published: If you get all of the dialogue from them 4 a piece , you get an achievement. It was just goofy enough to be fun, but seriously?
