At no point in time did I become weary or bored playing this game, which is more than I can say for nearly all of the recent HOPA releases where I'm doing the same thing over and over, chapter after chapter, wondering if it will ever end. Under the sea part was my favorite with a crane on the front of the ship. The remaining extras are the standard fluff but for new gamers the in-game strategy guide is always a benefit. Well done, Mad Head Games. Even the puzzles are excellent, although there were one or two that I immediately skipped because I disliked the particular type of puzzle. Liked the sights and sounds. This game has it all from crisp jewel-toned graphics that are absolutely gorgeous, to interesting interactive HOPS and lots of excellent puzzles. The storyline was fascinating, and I needed to find out how it all ended. The Mini-Games are super fun, although they do tend to be on the easy side of the spectrum. It's fun to play a game that's a departure from the usual detective in a haunted mansion or mental asylum. And once you have played it, you know where everything is and how to complete the puzzles, so playing it over and over is kind of pointless. Rotate triangle sections to move the ball to the end without colliding with the unmovable triangle.

I found this game intriguing in the demo, and the reviews said it got better after the demo, so I purchased it. Date published: The story line was good, and the game flowed naturally. Games have to have a decent story nowadays because they can't come up with a new way to actually play the game! A game doesn't have to be lengthy to be enjoyable, quite the opposite if a game is hours long but all I'm doing is ditching a tool in one scene only to discover I need to find the same tool again to complete the same kind of task, what's the fun in that? This is not a particularly challenging game to play, but I like that. As the clock ticks away, you will be propelled into an adventure that will defy everything you thought you knew about the world. I am no techie, and I was able to do what the game asked me to do. And, of course, there's yet another gadget which you will, I am sure, have use for many times throughout the game. The storyline was great fun and the puzzles and hidden object puzzles were a little different from the norm. I remembered to look for all of the collectibles and morphs in each scene so I'm not sure if they allow you to go back to the scenes to search for them, after completing the Bonus Chapter. My favorites were finding items that Matched Swatches, finding 2 of each item, Symbol Finds very challenging and a Mushroom Pair Match. The storyline was fascinating, and I needed to find out how it all ended. Everything about Moonsouls is exactly what I want in a game with gameplay and a storyline that held my attention, excellent HOPS and fun puzzles to solve. Will you save many more people than just your nephew?

And, of course, there's yet another gadget which you will, I am sure, have use for many times throughout the game. Sadly, the game changed quite drastically after the demo and ended well before I thought it would. After you collect all the symbols click on the collection in the extras and it turns into a treasure hunt. They continue to release new series games that are incredible! All in all, I find Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past to be an excellent game and a must-have addition to my gaming library. The graphics were beautiful. I got a little lost with the thread of the plot, but it didn't really matter. One of the reason's I liked this game better than the last, is that there are a ton of Mini Games, most of which are super easy. Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by boulter from Demo was the best part There are 3 or 4 scenes where you have to find and replace items to progress the story but these are not listed as mini-games or HOP's according to the CE Strategy Guide. Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past has a great story, cute hidden object scenes, fun puzzles! It also shows the ones you may have missed and which location they were in, which I really liked.

The hidden object scenes are nice but easy, just as the minigames and the entire game. I tend to play slowly as I have to take in every detail in the scenes and it did slow me down a bit as I was obsessive about finding the collectibles and the morphing objects. Rated 5 out of 5 by An0therW0rld from Colour, colour, colour In the end I loved this game and now I am going to look forward to another game in the Moonsouls series. Nice Sci-fi world. This review is based upon completed play of the game. I loved the artwork on the maps throughout the game and the bonus chapter was very fitting following the main story Luxor HD a very enjoyable play overall. Try it for yourself. For me, the highlight is the storyline, and I am not that much of a Sci-Fi fan unless it's done well, and this one is done very well.
