Long game so far too. I don't know how you will top this! Can you stop a powerful foe from taking over Paris?. Always annoys me. As always it was fun to see Victorian "Belle Epoque"? Not to mention that the animations and the cutscenes are also extremely polished. Rated 5 out of 5 by curly from Best Game In Ages! If anything, the Vermillion Watch series is known for its captivating and complex gameplay and Parisian Pursuit also satisfies on that dimension. Even though the game leans heavily on the mini-games, none of them feels like a waste of time. The beautifully-composed musical scores and the well-acted voice-overs help elevate the game to new heights. Plenty of scenery including a wistful reference to Notre Dame. However, as usual, it also comes with a plethora of extras; a strategy guide, wallpapers, concept art, soundtracks, videos, replayable hidden object scenes, replayable puzzles, achievements, collectibles, morphing objects, a souvenir room. Not here. Minor points, really.

Souvenirs, I haven't found one, but I hope to get some or replay this one soon. I didn't get into this game as much as the others but could be I'm getting a little bored with this type of game which is to bad because this is a good game with a good storyline. Some might find the story development to be a little slow, especially in the beginning, but the fascinating characters and the engaging storytelling style should be enough to keep the wheels turning. Although I'll probably wait at least 6 months, so it's more of a challenge. The hub of the game is no longer our old friend Rufus but a French lady named Eleonore who is the Parisian Vermillion Watch - pardon, Garde Rouge - representative. The gameplay is excellent, fast paced after a bit too much dialog in the beginning had to mention one minor thing So far no missing zippers, broken keys or the usual blehh stuff. Rated 5 out of 5 by curly from Best Game In Ages! Bravo Vermillion Watch!! The graphics are excellent. Not here. I did have to use the hint more as I got loss couple of times by not figuring out what to do in some places. Plot is straightforward but revealed gradually enough not to seem overly simplistic, just outlandish enough to remind us that the whole thing is very much tongue in cheek. Although I'll probably wait at least 6 months, so it's more of a challenge. Overall, an excellent entry in a top-notch series. Can't wait!!

  2. Plenty of play organized around a lengthy introduction and three scenes to be investigated as the usual VW pattern. Good to excellent voice acting with some nearly believable accents. Long game.

  4. The Victorian-era Paris as portrayed in this game is magnificent. Best of all, the puzzles are original and fun - right amount of challenge. Plenty of play organized around a lengthy introduction and three scenes to be investigated as the usual VW pattern.

  6. The bonus chapter was sort though but one does get a chance to look for the collectables after the game is finish. We have a gadget, a pair of spirit-revealing glasses that don't really add much to the game other than some interesting graphics when they're used. Bonus Game: A nice treat and a rather sweet game involving a really excellent secondary character, the fortune teller Madame Anne, and a gargoyle whose dilemma is of our own doing.
