It adds a cute element and incentive to watch for and collect the flowers. I even signed up for fun pass after being away for years just so I could keep playing this game. While it does allow you to transport with a click to anywhere on the map, it gives no indicators on it of places that have tasks to be done etc although I gave it an extra star because I liked the big green check mark over a detination on the map that has all tasks done and the are completed. Your progress is hindered by a strange woman dressed in black that Jane refers to as 'Noise" and she seems to be causing these symptoms to occur. The flowers can be used to buy furniture to outfit your office. Only reaching her darkest, locked memories will provide the answer. Another thing, I really like about the Surface series Upon entering her mind, you find her psyche at the gate to the Town of Jane Doe and she is burning up from fever. Bonus chapter. It was like playing in an interactive movie and I loved it! The key to Jane's real name and her recovery is tied to finding out who she is and what happened to bring her here. The hidden object games are easy to see and there are not too many of them which is great for me as I do not like them much. Also, I almost did NOT buy this because I was a little weirded out by the title, the picture on the SE version, which is what I kept seeing all over the place

They certainly didn't need to. The puzzles were also good. Overall, it is a fun game with a refreshing and unusual storyline. This game is done very nicely, with great graphics, and storyline! 2. Audio and graphics superb. Would definitely recommend! Please, give this game a good chance, at least, Demo it There is an interactive map with action areas indicated and the usual hint button.

  3. This is the 3rd Surface game, I have played. A person's mind is an abstract thing. The story line, if not precisely accurate, is still fun to follow. The flowers can be used to buy furniture to outfit your office. This game had a map that helped to move from scene to scene but no diary or notebook to remind you of what you'd found out so far.

  4. They certainly didn't need to. The change in subject matter made it a 5 star for me. I can't say the same for many of the "harder" mini-games I've played. Until then, this town must be called Jane Doe. It's in my top 5 now.

  5. And the storyline is amazing, it's strange, but could not be otherwise eather I bought the Collectors edition, and found it was well worth it for the bonus gameplay, which takes up where the game left off! The psychic must uncover every secret, including the most obvious, the girl's name. One mg the magnetic game was repeated in different areas times and just happened to be the one I did NOT like.

  6. It is better to get the SE than nothing at all, but I do really think the CE was worth it because of the fun use of the collectibles, and the more satisfying post-ending conclusion although the story IS fully resolved in the SE, which we all can appreciate. This is why, I call it a small complaint and did not deduct any stars. There are 16 achievements to be had as well as "aura flowers" to be collected throughout the game, in main game and 73 in bonus chapter. This game had a map that helped to move from scene to scene but no diary or notebook to remind you of what you'd found out so far. Music was fitting to the many scene changes encountered.

  9. Here's what I liked best: -Story was creative, creative, creative - wow. Please, give this game a good chance, at least, Demo it And the bonus chapter helps tie up the loose ends. Happy gaming gamers! Never seen anything like it!

  10. When moving you can go to map or scene to scene without complications. I liked the link back to the "real world" when Jane Doe, the patient, showed signs of distress in the hospital. Date published:
