Zero seconds would be better. Holmes stepped in to take advantage of the situation. The instructions were just not clear for me. Or maybe it's really because there was nothing to make me care about finding the missing characters or solving possible crimes. Holmes: The Monster of the Baskervilles is rated 3. I simply cannot see those tiny things, but other than that they were varied, clear and fun to do. This issue does not only concern the storyline but the gameplay as well. While the underlying concept of a female Sherlock Holmes is fascinating, the main heroine lacks a distinct personality that would have helped differentiate this game from other detective HOPA titles. The biggest plus for this game Don't get too excited about this "family curse" scenario because it only lasts one chapter before the plot jumps from point A to point Z which has nothing to do with the plot, and basically isn't even mentioned in the following 2 final chapters???? I was hoping to find a pure mystery game without any of the elements of fantasy other than the monster who I'm guessing will turn out to be no real monster we've had to suffer in so many recent games. Hidden objects were really good. I like pretty list hops. I completed the puzzle a second time but it doesn't do anything, therefore I can't access the Bonus Chapter because the game thinks I didn't complete the main game. Was that the sole purpose of bricking up the wall, so that someone could replace the emblems to make it crumble??

Holmes is not a well-crafted game, since it definitely is coming from an experienced developer like Elephant Games. The only thing I didn't care for in this category was the voice overs. I completed the final puzzle in the main chapter but during the final cutscene after the mini-game, it shut down again. I guess I'm a majority of one who liked playing this new game. The hops are ok. Graphics were very well done along with the colors in the scenes. This series has a bright future when they get all the kinks worked out. Ms Holmes was obviously pushing her parts. I kept thinking maybe I'm finding this boring because I don't feel well, or maybe it's the dark, dreary coloring of the scenes, or maybe it's doing all the same things I've had to do in too many other games like pick locks, find shaped keys, get rid of ants, use a magnet to retrieve something out of reach, and so on and so forth.
