I love the nickname Pumpkin Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by campingramps from This a buy for me Reviews are pretty well split on this one but this is a definite buy for me. He was wounded by Pumpkin's crossbow before his rapid exit, so the game from that point will begin the search for the creature and find out what's going on and put an end to the terror. Each time we use the Protector we of course need to play a puzzle or two before it is ready to zap the enemy or perceived danger. I am not a fan of those where we drag a marble along a crooked path but they are not too difficult in The Black Sun. One aspect of the game we would like the point out is the hidden object scenes. A Black Sun Eclipse is coming in two days and the eclipse will burn this magical protector to it's death. The graphics and colors were excellent and very appropriate for that particular time in history. Where The Black Sun becomes a very good game is with an interesting storyline that while similar has a different spin on the bad guy. Once I've played the bonus chapter, I'll post something about it in the forums, but it will probably be a minute, as I plan to play the main game through again before doing so. I highly recommend this game and I will be buying this. I felt the story line was very clever. Nonetheless, we personally found the adventure section in The Black Sun to be more complex and challenging than in most Eipix games. I just finished the demo and was not very impressed. This game is very fun to play and keeps you busy.

The story is complex and there is an unbelievable twist regarding Ottilia's brother The Baron and Jana. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by campingramps from This a buy for me Reviews are pretty well split on this one but this is a definite buy for me. No need to skip. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by bishky from Excellent game Did the beta test on this just a while ago and so glad they got it out so quick. I loved the twist on the ending. I liked the costumes, the voices were very well matched to each character and all the characters were nicely done. Of course I will say the same thing here that I said about the puzzles and that there might not be too much that it new because it is a HOPA game after all, and the premise is the same — find missing items to complete other items so we can move forward. And will definitely read all the reviews as they come in, as I always depend heavily on them before making any decision to buy. Interesting story line and beautifully done, both sound and looks. Gameplay was smooth, although there were a few hiccups, as sparkles on HO-scenes which I had switched off, or the head of the healer still floating over the cauldron, even after she had left the hut. Each time we use the Protector we of course need to play a puzzle or two before it is ready to zap the enemy or perceived danger. I have always enjoyed Myths of the World.

This game is a winner in my book. Some new games to play and plenty to think about. He was wounded by Pumpkin's crossbow before his rapid exit, so the game from that point will begin the search for the creature and find out what's going on and put an end to the terror. The somber tone of the graphics fits the theme of the game pretty well and the quality of the visuals overall is impressive, although not the best from Eipix. I realize that it is very difficult for developers to always come up with something new so what I look for are the scenes that are entertaining and keep me thinking. I knew from the opening cut scene that I would like it and I haven't been disappointed. Eipix is currently churning out games like no one else in the industry. I really enjoyed this adventure and it was extremely difficult to solve. I just finished the demo and was not very impressed. Once I've played the bonus chapter, I'll post something about it in the forums, but it will probably be a minute, as I plan to play the main game through again before doing so. Won't even wait for game credits. There were a lot of great choices, but we had to draw the line at the chicken-headed beast. Story is typical 'monster attacks town and terrorizes people and only you can save it" scenario but not put forward in an amateurish manner. You'll have to play the ENTIRE adventure to figure this one out and it will blow your mind when you reach the conclusion of the intricate and obscure adventure

You don't have much time to solve this conundrum yet you will spend at least 8 hours of game play trying before Lunden Myths of the World: The Black Sun Collectors Edition completely destroyed. I appreciated having the option to switch off pop-up notifications for achievements and objects. After you free yourself from the rubble you find that your father has been turned to stone, and one of the happiest days of your life becomes a nightmare. If you happen to prefer the CE version of a game, this one includes the usual suspects — find collectible lizards and morphing objects, achievements to earn, wallpapers, screensavers, artwork, videos, music, replay of HOPS and Puzzles, Souvenir Room, Skipping Stones, a Terrarium, Strategy Guide, and a bonus chapter. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by jezzybell from love it Game was good but game time is not long finished game in 6 hours. Seems the Baron of Lunden has a thing for petrifying people to stone and it's up to you to get to the bottom of this unusual story of kidnapping and deceit. This game is a winner in my book. By Bonfire Stories: The Faceless Gravedigger Collectors Edition time the demo time was coming to an end I was so into the storyline that it was a surprise. Very well thought out with everything you do leading to a satisfactory conclusion. Not sure about buying the game right now, only because I didn't experience enough in the trial to influence a decision. It's then you learn that Ottilia had a daughter named Jana who was kidnapped by her brother and now you must save the daughter Jana. I believe that the developer has made great efforts to try to give us some well-designed HOPS that are a bit challenging as well as fun. Along with the HOPS there are some interesting puzzles that, while not too different from what we have seen before, contain some challenge. In the bonus adventure you get to play the role of Felicia in a quest for the Edelweiss extract which can cure disease of massive outbreaks affecting the entire town of Lunden.

The Bonus Game, a prequel to the main story, was well done. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by overstreetthered from I enjoyed this Seems the Baron of Lunden has a thing for petrifying people to stone and it's up to you to get to the bottom of this unusual story of kidnapping and deceit. I love HOPA games and have played almost every game released here at BFG in the past ten years and I still manage to find something to love about most of them. Along with the HOPS there are some interesting puzzles that, while not too different from what we have seen before, contain some challenge. I laughed out loud when I got it. Years ago I was on a boat trip on the Lake of Geneva. Would hate to mislead anyone. I enjoyed the story a lot, loved the references to Switzerland, especially the one about Swiss cheese. This game is a winner in my book. Felicia also has the power to bring a Basilisk back to life! To celebrate your arrival he has a special gift for you but you must find it first by following the clues that he has left for you. In this edition you are cast in the role of Commander Hirt you play a male in this one. Once I've played the bonus chapter, I'll post something about it in the forums, but it will probably be a minute, as I plan to play the main game through again before doing so.

During the in depth storyline you discover Ottilia, the Baron's sister. The HOPS are interesting and done with some creative touches although nothing is really new. But frankly there just wasn't any action to report. Explore the dark mysteries of the Black Moon Eclipse and save your father in this latest Myths of the World installment. Years ago I was on a boat trip on the Lake of Geneva. Once I've played the bonus chapter, I'll post something about it in the forums, but it will probably be a minute, as I plan to play the main game through again before doing so. Now I'm not going to write a lengthy review telling you everything about the game as I have seen in some reviews, just enough to maybe peek your interest. Happy gaming, all. Thank you Big Fish I loved it Really hope this will be a standard feature from now on. This game is a winner in my book. I hate games where the only colors seem to be gray, black, bark blues and maybe silver. Each time we use the Protector we of course need to play Off the Record: The Art of Deception puzzle or two before it is ready to zap the enemy or perceived danger.
