Travel Mosaics 7: Fantastic Berlin

Travel Mosaics is an absolutely beautiful and brilliant edutainment game for all ages. Join the Walker animal family during their sight-seeing tour to the most outstanding and famous tourist attractions in Berlin. Play the game and learn curious facts while answering tricky quiz questions and collecting souvenirs. Enjoy 140 new “nonogram” puzzles (also known as Picross or Griddlers). However, compared to classic nonograms, Travel Mosaics puzzles are color-coded, and each puzzle contains a hidden semi-abstract image that can be uncovered through logic. It’s amazing brain-jogging fun for everybody interested in the history of Berlin!

I own one other Travel Mosaics and based on my fun with it, I will be purchasing this one. The one feature I really like of this particular mosaic is the fact the you can rescue the game if you make too many mistakes. I like the colours and scenes.

In previous games, there were 5 Tile options to choose from, a Bubble style, a square with rounded corners, a Princess Cut Diamond shape, a multi-faceted tile, and a lunar-style. Power-ups, such as a Hammer, Sun, Lightning or Bombs, originally don't have much coverage but increases with each upgrade. The music was okay, Good puzzles, mini games had a little challenge which was fun. Usually I avoid these mosaic games but I found this one enjoyable, color and level mode and all are good, but I don't like the last puzzle on each level. Only reason I cant give a five is I hate the dancing paintbrush although I have tried to not look at it. The pictures were really cute and I had no trouble recognizing them. I can only think they will get worse. You can play in an Easy mode which crosses off cells for you and applies the appropriate colors, a Normal mode, or a Difficult mode which only crosses off squares when the entire row and column has been completed, and you have to manually switch between colors.

The mini games between scenes are also challenging. You can also buy items for their living room as you get points which is cute. I like the colours and scenes. Usually I avoid these mosaic games but I found this one enjoyable, color and level mode and all are good, but I don't like the last puzzle on each level. If you make too many mistakes, you need not restart the game if you can correctly answer a question about the pic you are working on. No way to know if you had a piece in the right spot. I guess I just don't like the constantly bouncing, glittering tiles, and all the strange sounds every time I fill a cell or complete a grouping of cells, it's nothing more than sensory overload. I still got with the BOGO sale. Fun stuff in this mosaic game. An entertaining game all round for beginners or advanced players. If you make too many mistakes, you need not restart the game if you can correctly answer a question about the pic you are working on.

  1. Music is pleasant not intrusive. Lastly, you must average at least two stars on every level to play the puzzle. Also the pictures are not labeled. One mistake loses you a star. Using the square with black dots is the best for me.

Usually I avoid these mosaic games but I found this one enjoyable, color and level mode and all are good, but I don't like the last puzzle on each level. I wish other devs brought this in, it is very good. Earn coins, lives, achievements. Earn stars to open each level.

  9. Also the pictures are not labeled. God Bless It gives you something to work for to do the puzzle at end of each group which I love. Each of the Locations has 6 main Mosaic levels, 1 bonus level, and 1 additional puzzle jigsaw variations You must earn at least 2 Stars on each main level to open the bonus level, and you must earn a minimum of 2 stars on the Bonus Level to open the additional puzzle. Almost forgot dont forget you can change your background and mosaic pieces.
