Hidden Expedition: The Golden Secret does not disappoint when it comes to length either. Another fun entry in the "Hidden Expedition" series. Hope to see more with Sam but maybe the voice actor is not interested in doing any. I skipped two of the puzzles and will replay them after I finish the bonus chapter. I completed this outstanding adventure and I am proud to once again be a recruit of Hidden Expedition League of Preservation H. The VA was also good, although I'm not impressed that the antagonist is yet another rogue H. Get prepared for a fast and furious adventure beginning in Geneva, Switzerland. If thy pen Gods vs Humans the lines of the maze, thou Path To Success begin again! The production team did a great job with the sights and sounds. Otherwise, if you like the rest of the HE games, you'll probably like this one. Some of the puzzles seemed to be a notch up from the last game and some even have a higher level of challenge. This edition has a runtime at approximately 4 or 5 hours, with another hour for the bonus adventure. Connection puzzle. A unique puzzle in which you must assemble five 5 pieces into one item by moving them on a path and then using wheels to rotate them. I recommend this entire series to anyone who wants to feel like Indiana Jones. Many of the scenes have puzzles incorporated as well as some interactivity when it comes to finding many of the items.   1. Oh, and if you just don't like HOPS, you can always switch to a mini game to help complete the scenes. This is one of the best Hidden Expedition editions offered in the series to date and it is a heart-pounding chapter in this beloved series. I do hope this edition will generate a renewed interest in this ongoing saga and that casual gamers who love adventures will enjoy playing this installment as much as I did. The story behind the game is well-written and I was surprised by the direction the story took within this game.

  2. In this game you will learn the history of this organization and hopefully thwart the rogue agent and his fellow evildoer from their nefarious plans. There are also a couple of rebus puzzle scenes as well. From there, enjoy a danger-filled trip taking you to a castle in Germany; then travel to the creepy dark hidden chambers within a London cemetery; finally find yourself in the jungles of South America! I'm really liking what I'm seeing from this new game.

I think this might have been the first game I've played in years where no crowbar showed up, I didn't have to gather a recipe to stew something, I didn't have to work a blacksmith shop to create a metal object I do hope this edition will generate a renewed interest in this ongoing saga and that casual gamers who love adventures will enjoy playing this installment as much as I did. Rating: 3 D. However, those intermediate and expert gamers will love the challenging aspect to this game.

  7. The storyline also dragged in places--there wasn't a lot of action, unfortunately. The storyline is fantastic, full of surprises and well written by the developers. My biggest annoyance- Literally anyone who took high school history can tell you Sir Walter's 'Raleigh' rhymes with 'jolly,' not 'delay. Oh, and if you just don't like HOPS, you can always switch to a mini game to help complete the scenes.
