  1. Pick up the pipe inside the pot. Pick up the Door Handle on the right side of the red chair in the center of the scene. There is a journal, summary of the story, and a map, but the game is linear: when a location is complete, you won't return. Using the code found on the book on the counter; click on the following buttons on the register.

  2. The Part of the Lock will go into your inventory. Please look at the screenshot for the solution. Once the puzzle has been solved, the key will appear in place of the panel. Click on the back door to enter it.

  3. You could not close it by just clicking outside of it. There is 1 hidden area in this scene. There is a map feature that allows you to click and drag the map and choose which locations to search for clues. I heartily recommend all three.

  4. Place the Parts of the Lighter anywhere on the scene. Because of this, the hint button was only available for the HOS. One thing I did not like was closing the popups. Click on the box in the lower right for a closer view. There is very little back and forth and the logical way the story progressed was very gratifying.

  5. It is a business card that belongs to Jules Mignaud, close the pop-up window. Pick up the Lever under the rug. Pick up the Coin inside the cabinet to add it to your inventory.

  6. There are no timers in the game; you can play at your own leisure. It is a tough run thought with no hints and lots of searching out clues and the tools needed to move on. Click on the mailbox again for a closer view. Click on the crank on the base of the Phonograph in the lower left.

  7. Told as it is in M. Jail Cells There are 3 doors in this section. Place the Gasoline Jar anywhere in the scene. Pick up the keys in the tray. Click on the Key next to the curtains.

  8. I guessed that the object of the puzzle was to place the tiles so that no tile was repeated in any row or column, a common puzzle for this type of layout. Place the Corkscrew on the table. This one, "Murders in the Rue Morgue," is the most rudimentary of the three, but excellent nonetheless. Click on the back door to open it, go through the door to access the Jail Cells. Click on the sparkly area on the left to enter a Hidden Object scene.
