It only took me 41 minutes to play the first 20 puzzles, even with having to replay for more stars. Decide for yourself. The challenges are appropriate. The real problem is that this developer 8th floor does use lousy pictures sometimes which is why I almost never buy their jigsaw puzzles. As I played through the 20 pictures of the first level, however, I started enjoying myself. I don't mind because the starting pieces and those on offer change each time, so it doesn't get boring.

It's relaxing for me. I really enjoyed these and I wish they would make more. Decide for yourself. In some puzzles, it made them more difficult, but not in a fun, challenging way. I will admit, it can be really frustrating to finish these progressively difficult puzzles within the allotted time and without making mistakes, but there is a Relaxed mode if you're not in the mood for a speed driven game. I thought that, as with the recent Halloween mosaics from this dev, 8th floor, this game would be no fun because of the use of photos cut into supposed mosaics instead of the usual pieces textured as wood, glass, stone, etc. As I played through the 20 pictures of the first level, however, I started enjoying myself. Just don't expect Puzle same experience as with a real Patchworkz-type puzzle game. To earn 3 stars you must finish the puzzle without any mistakes and within the allotted time. They used to be beautiful, with some pieces looking like wood, or stained glass or stone, and now it's just take a real picture, cut it Kronville: Stolen Dreams pieces, slap on a polka dot background and call it a day. Would love to see more of these that are like this and the quality of Patchworkz. One thing I did like, was that you didn't have to continuously hold the pieces. Another interesting feature with these games is that they have a left hand option, enjoy! Cheistmas I played through the 20 pictures of the first level, however, I started enjoying myself. As the timer starts to get close to the end, you will get a 30 second warning so to speak. The challenges are appropriate. I found that, except for photos of people, many of the pictures were charming and gave me the Christmas spirit, playing as I am on Christmad Eve.

If you are playing in the Relaxed mode, you will automatically earn the third star. There are 6 Different locations and each location has 20 different puzzles to complete. It's relaxing for me. I won't be buying this one or any like it again. Lots of wonderful mosaic puzzles Also, the way the pictures were cut up added to my interest. There are 6 different halls 20 games each with each hall using different materials cloth, wood, marble, etc. I play on Relaxed mode, because I can't imagine trying to beat the clock. I like both modes, but I wish there was still a timer on the relaxed mode that shows how long the puzzle takes you to complete, and what time frame that particular puzzle would be if you weren't playing in the relaxed mode. Can't solve something you can't see!!!! Each seems prettier than the next. Its a buy for me. Yes, it is not like the real Patchworkz-type puzzles where there are textures to match as well as colors and shapes. In fairness, I keep my screen darker than most to avoid eye strain and I have a large, great quality device; however, when playing these games, I increase the brightness substantially.

If you are a puzzle geek, or have the need for speed, this is an awesome puzzle with beautiful pictures of holiday decorations, featuring treats, decorations, family, presents, Incredible Adventures of my Mom and even Santa himself, enjoy! They used to be beautiful, with some pieces looking like wood, or stained glass or stone, and now it's Christmas Mosaic Puzzle take a real picture, cut it into pieces, slap on a polka dot background and call it a day. By the way, it doesn't really require payment, but I had to go back and play some pictures over so that I earned three more stars to progress. It seems as though the developer, also 8Floor Ltd, suddenly remembered that they needed to make a Christmas puzzle and didn't have the time to do it properly. Otherwise, Christmmas probably would have only given it 1 or 2 stars.


The pictures are colorful and very clear. I don't listen to the music and don't care about story lines. I love the transition from felt to glass to marble to wood ect.. But this game is painfully boring. I play on Relaxed mode, because I can't imagine trying to beat the clock. You will earn 1 star which are actually keys if you fully assemble the puzzle, a second star if you make no mistakes, and a third star if you complete the puzzle within the allotted time. If anything gets you into the Christmas spirit, its one of these! That would be a super cool feature to add, and I'm sure other Mosaic fans would agree with me. My favorite so far is the stockinged feet in front of the blazing fire.

Don't worry though, this game has a Relaxed mode, and it's just as much fun when you're not racing against the clock.
