The big payoff is seeing your photos at the end of each level. I think they should do away with that. You can make a bird, but it won't share. It's so much fun and engaging and I love coming back looking for a particular bird and getting a particular angle to have the nicest photos in my field journal. My only complaint and the ONLY reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it won't run on my new computer, not sure why - luckily, it runs fine on my old computer.

There is a gadget that will identify birds for you, but you don't get it right away, and depending on that would slow you down. I will buy it along with all my other great BF games. You can move the mouse side-to-side to see even more of the environment. Taking the perfect photo becomes a challenge, even with all the helpful equipment you get along the way. I have played it through a dozen times and still cant get enough!

  1. I definitely recommend this game. The graphics are nice, its relaxing without being boring, and again, just so different than anything else that it was very refreshing.   2. It is a good game one I played years ago for an hour time-trial couldn't find the name of it but happened to hit upon it by chance. The graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack is really lovely, and there are also recordings of real bird songs. Worth at least a try. And there are many different locations.

  3. Your mouse cursor is now a magnifier, so as you move it around to see subjects to photograph, you will see a larger view of the bird when your mouse is placed over top of it. I can't wait for the sequel! I think they should do away with that.

  5. They give you photo assignments and help you in your quest to find out, what actually happened to him. And there are many different locations. The first few scenes you collect gadgets like zoom lenses, bird identifier, bird food etc.

Anyway, if you are looking for a change from all the usual types of game or need to unwind with a game-equivalent of a hot toddy, then this is for you.
