Yes I played it to the end as well as the bonus chapter. I like the few extra puzzles different than those to the game offered as well. Hey Blue Tea No there are not a lot of challenging puzzles, but I really did not mind that because sometimes games can go overboard with those and make them so hard I want to pull out my hair. I never wanted it to end. This game has a few genuinely scary moments as well - a leaping ghost at one scene and random intrusions by a mad man - but then again I am quite a scaredy-cat despite my love for spooky HOGs! Also all the various letters that are found throughout the theatre - they can be so much more if the writers spend some time actually penning these letters and showing the player actual letters rather than a line of summary of what the letter is about. It was spooky and scary and fun! Welcome to the Nightingale Theater. Many HOG scenes - but that didn't put me off. The mini games are so-so. This game runs along the lines of the black swan, a jealous competitor gets rid of the star and puts the blame elsewhere. Completed inventory items, on the whole, are all VERY pretty - organ keys, crystal balls, black lockets, intricately designed keys, and so on. Unusually, the characters have depth and you care about what happens to them--you get emotionally involved as the story proceeds.

Macabre Objects helps to speed up hint refill but that's pretty much all they do. I was disappointed that it ended. Many HOG scenes - but that didn't put me off. I felt that it was taking a bit of inspiration of The Phantom of the Opera but not too much. A nicely constructed map helps to find the missing objects. Graphics are stunning. At least try the game and decide for yourself. Bonus chapter walkthrough not available on the strategy guide I highly recommend it.
