Help the wizard Avitus restore his home in Magic Time! After a mysterious artifact falls from the sky and is discovered by Avitus, it explodes destroying his home and he now needs your help. Collect energy from the forest by matching colorful tiles and use magical powerups to help repair Avitus' home in this enchanting Match 3 game.

Graphics are good and believe it or not, there is a storyline. Already purchased this one! The writing for the rest of the series is mediocre at best and abysmal at worst. It gets a lot of negative reviews, but most of these seem based on the opinions that a this is not a true Barbara Hambly book It's not. In using a trial, Marlette perhaps intrinsically understood that to truly heal, first a bright light has to expose the atrocities of the past. I didn't hesitate to buy it when the hour long trial was up. A really nice game, with loads of powerups and achievements. Even some match-3 can be on the dark side. Hardly a cerebral challenge Hardly a I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I just wish I knew what that Irish type music was they play in some of the match 3 scenes I must admit, it was a little hard to get into. The writing for the rest of the series is mediocre at best and abysmal at worst. Overall, I found the book interesting and engaging. But the reality the AME church shooting brings forth is that the South and, indeed, perhaps America, still has far to go in achieving social justice and laying to rest the pain of slavery and its brother, segregation and subjugation.

I grew to care about them and succumbed to the true magic cast by all hardworking, talented authors. The town walks a common line of the New South, gingerly tiptoeing around the vicious racially fueled oppression and violence that reigned in the Jim Crow years and exploded during the Civil Rights movement. I don't see the problem. I was eager to follow these characters' stories, so painstakingly established here in 1, and that's where the Magic Time series loses any whisper of enchantment whatsoever. I grew to care about them and succumbed to the true magic cast by all hardworking, talented authors. The slow start makes it difficult to stick with and this is what makes it a 2 rather than a 3 rating. The book is slow to start due to introducing quite a number of characters and it really drags along much of this. Not a bad read listen for me , but not anything 'standoutish' either. I don't see the problem. Somewhat a lancing of the boil, so to speak. By the end of the book, the reader is made very aware of what is going on and the story has come together very well. A middle-aged Carter still suffers the violent and sudden loss of the woman he loved. As a 'recommended by the library' book I didn't know what to expect and so looked up some reviews before diving in. This is something that I have not seen in M3 before. The problem is that Hambly did make this an enjoyable read and to say that's a problem with a book is a sad comment on a series. A middle-aged Carter still suffers the violent and sudden loss of the woman he loved.

  1. I am looking forward to book two. 2. A bit of a challenge but more importantly relaxing and visually beautiful. While the book has a slow start, I felt that the character and plot development were well done and led naturally into the interaction of the various players. You can play the game in timed or untimed mode. It takes some time to really make a lot of sense out of what is going on. I played in time mode.

  3. The relationship between Magic Time follows Carter Ransom, a New York transplant and Journalist who finds himself back in his Mississippi hometown as he recovers from an emotional breakdown.
