This series is all about solving a mystery or two. The advanced touchscreen tablet feature serves as a nice addition, although undeniably gimmicky. Mini games were not challenging. I've played the game several times including the bonus game and really enjoyed the puzzles and storyline. New puzzle - find the evidence. Yes, the game play is a little slow —well, for my liking, anyway— but the action is logical and it is not too difficult to figure out your next move. My favorite aspect of the gameplay must be the hidden object scenes. Should you want to jump from here to there, the map will be a good tool for you. The HO sequences and mini-games, with one or two minor exceptions, were no different than any seen in other Eipix products. To say it was as good as the previous games would not be true.

  1. Graphics were well done. Bad stuff: Apparently Professor Bradley knew he would be murdered and set up the entire campus to help you out! Only thing I didn't like is that it always said "mystery not solved do you really want to quit" even after I'd completed the bonus game.

Because this is a college of cutting edge technology, important apps are automatically downloaded to your tablet while on the campus grounds ok, that's a bit intrusive In the Collector's Edition version, there are 37 Mortar Boards black academic caps to find, one in each scene, but because they have a red tassel, they tend to be easily spotted, the usual achievements and extras, Morphing Objects within the HOP's, and eventually 12 Souvenir's to collect. There are also Spot the Difference HOP's with small puzzles to solve, and of course the Dead Reckoning famous HOP's where you find clues and signs, indicating whether or not suspects are being truthful in their statements. Set in the academic world and their scientific intrigues, the story unfolded nicely.

  3. Douglas, let's go get the culprit s so you can receive your lifetime achievement award! I particularly liked the voice overs. Shortly thereafter you meet the acting head of the university, Bradley Dawson, who seems to want to convey something secret to you.

  5. This newest addition to the series shows that Eipix has taken a fresh look and added some new elements that make it even more enjoyable. With the exception of a couple of the games in this series, it has been better than average throughout. While the gameplay features many cool, hi-tech elements, most of the times the game feels a little formulaic. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1 Create a path that avoids strong wind currents, by rotating tiles in a "pipes" style game. I was hooked on it from the beginning and with the twists that came along the ending was rather a surprise.
