Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Curse of Wolfhill

ERS Games returns with the next installment of the Shadow Wolf Mysteries series! After escaping as an infant, you and your father have been called back to Wolfhill. Your cousin sent your father the family symbol, which can only mean one thing... he's in danger from the same thing you ran from! Will your wolf curse help you save the day, or will it be your downfall? Find out in this hair-raising hidden-object puzzle adventure!

The game play is great, the puzzles were fun albeit I don't always have the patience to struggle for long, so skip a few , the voices and sounds were very good, the graphics top notch as normal. My rating is based on playing the entire SE. There is absolutely nothing unique about Curse of Wolfhill; from its predictable gameplay and tedious tasks to its insultingly easy puzzles and average hidden object scenes. Happy Gaming!! Otherwise the game is good, puzzles very good. Animations, graphics, color and voice overs were very good.. I guess I expect the endings to be like the ending of a book and not be so abrupt and have more explanation or tying up the end neatly. Give the demo a try and perhaps you will have a better experience than I. I'm sure the developers and BFG will appreciate your opinion. You have an interactive map which I found very necessary in getting around. There is a lot of inventory to pick up and use elsewhere. I also love werewolf games. It was so much that I had to use the map just to find out where locations were and the next spot to work!! Because you are a "coming of age" werewolf, you will hone your special abilities such as a keen eyesight, a keen sense of smell, and werewolf strength, which are obtained once you have found enough Viscum Lupinorum, a rare mistletoe that is native to Wolfhill.

The developer did add some Rush for Gold: California backstories to add some variety, but they are not enough to distract us from the uninspired, same-old and Mahjong Escape Ancient China boring plot. But all in all, they were a good piece of work and quite challenging. Yes, they are clearly professionally-executed, the gameplay is cohesive and the game mechanics flow very well together.

In this series:. There is a lot of inventory to pick up and use elsewhere. To me, the bonus game jarred slightly in that her father is suddenly the villain of the piece but again a very good game. Date published: The inventory list could get large at times but for the most part you used what you picked up fairly soon. Several years have passed, and your father has taught you to control your curse, but tonight, you must return to Wolfhill for the first time, to rescue cousin Neil and his family from the same fate you escaped from all those years ago. HOS were interactive and interesting and the mini games were for the most part, doable meaning I didn't skip very many of them which is my MO. The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with Interactive List finds, finding items that match the Red Text words during a background story of the Millers, Fragment finds, and silhouetted Shape finds. Nothing to really write home about, but it passed a few hours on a rainy Florida afternoon. You get lists, silhouettes, matching etc The bad guys always do have such a gruesome laugh. No wonder we are getting fewer and fewer games. Animations, graphics, color and voice overs were very good.. You can set the difficulty level according to your skills in the settings. 1. Otherwise the game is good, puzzles very good. The inventory list could get large at times but for the most part you used what you picked up fairly soon. And your own wolf strength, which will be increased through mistletoes during the game. They are mostly grey and blue but the story isn't a happy one either. This is so poor.

  2. Colors were fine and the voice overs were acceptable. The puzzles are interesting and can be hard or as easy as you want. Dislikes: Slightly unrealistic: a bell in a turtle? Like I said, maybe it's time to retire the werewolves wherever werewolves retire.
