Amaranthine Voyage: The Orb of Purity

From Eipix Entertainment, the studio that created Final Cut and Sea of Lies, invites you to explore a new world in the next Amaranthine Voyage! Professor Samantha Bennett has made a huge breakthrough in her harmonium research, but is shocked when a man from another world falls through her new portal. The man calls himself Kraixx and appears to be ill, pleading with Prof. Bennett to save his world. Since you're the leading expert on harmonium, Prof. Bennett calls you in, hoping you can save this strange man's life and uncover the mysteries of the dark harmonium threatening to swallow Kraixx's world. Search this new world for clues, but beware the Watchers, a cold-hearted group whose goal is to arrest anyone with magical abilities, including Kraixx. You'll have to decide who to trust in this new world where anything is possible.

Follow Kraixx back to his world and help him overturn the Watchers and restore the balance in this new game in the Amaranthine Voyage series - The Orb of Purity. The bonus game in the CE version is connected to the main story which I like.

Eipix probably doesn't need to continue this series of it's franchise, I think it has plateaued Unfortunately, this one was not fun for me and I couldn't wait to have the demo end. As always I never wanted this game to end. The game looks and sounds reasonable, although the voice of the main antagonist drives me crazy and seems to be featured in everything I play lately.

  2. Give the demo a try as always and see what you think. I gave the visuals and sound a 4. There is also my favorite list type included in the mix but no matter the type of scene many are quite interactive and that increases the fun. 3. Had it been on graphics only, I wouldn't have given it that high, but the sound, especially the voice over scenes were excellent. Give the demo a try as always and see what you think. Discuss with other players!

  4. Great job everyone.. This game has all the CE bells and whistles, so if you really like the game, the CE might be worth it. If I like the mini-games I am not as bored by these gimmicks but in some games they are rather a nuisance to complete when I need to get on with saving someone or something — lol. Depends upon how much you like it.

There are other settings you can fiddle with and most importantly, at least IMHO, is that you can turn of the click penalty. Only for series completists.

  7. I have another of this series and while it has been a while since I've played it, I do not recall having one mini game after the other and that is what this seems to have at least in the demo. I bought the CE and don't regret it, but the SE would be fun, too.
