European Mystery: Flowers of Death

From Blam! Games, makers of the Punished Talents and Fierce Tales series, comes an all-new European Mystery to solve! A strain of toxic flowers has surfaced in the Netherlands, attacking locals and pulling them into lifeless comas. After being summoned to investigate this strange situation, you quickly realize that the plants aren't the only sinister thing happening in the city. Some of the city's most prominent citizens have been involved in shady dealings... and they might just be the cause of the horticultural horrors. Can you find the root of the mystery and stop the fatal flowers before falling victim to them yourself? Find out in this thrilling Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game!

As described by other people the game has four levels -- I used custom to shorten the time the hint and skip button reloaded. My review is based upon the SE version and even though I've not completed it, I wanted to give my review while my thoughts were still fresh in my mind. Game-flow is foremost and utmost important to me--without that, it won't work for me. Mini games are fun and not the normal ones you see with most HO's. The mini-games in European Mystery: Flowers of Death are new and different. Many twists and turns but if you don't want to run back and forth, HINT will show you where you need to go. Mini puzzles vary from simple to pretty hard; I skipped some of them. Good on ya', devs! As another reviewer mentioned, it seems the more games one plays the easier it gets or perhaps the devs are becoming lax, but I think it has a lot to do with the game-plan; and after playing over a hundred or so games, you do become much more experienced and quite skilled. I think we could sleep through the game and still earn many of them. Either that or I need to have my eyes checked — lol. Mini games are good but some are a little tougher to understand what they are looking for! Very long game, interesting storyline and good graphics. I don't want to give away spoilers but your method in creating a concoction for the pollen antidote from the Florist Kit is innovative and different from any other developers' methods, not that theirs isn't as good.

Good on ya', devs! You can teleport to another area. But I insisted he needed that specific item because he had something I really, really wanted to complete the task! Game-flow is foremost and utmost important to me--without that, it won't work for me. Foolish me! As long as it's not too wordy, that's fine by me. This is the type of game you could play again in a few weeks. I like the cut scenes very much; the graphics are great; voiceovers are wonderful. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by worlockslady1 from My new favorite Game is great! This is my first experience with this series and I really enjoyed the hidden objects. Happy me. Didn't turn up the music, set my own level of challenge using Custom settings.

Really liked it! The graphics are good, not great, but very good. However, it took about 10 seconds for each scene to load. Foolish me! The game offers four modes of gameplay: Casual, Advanced Hardcore, and Custom. This one does not have a journal. In the custom mode you can set both the hint and skip buttons to recharge in a range of 15 to 90 seconds. I am glad that I bought this game. Enjoyed it from beginning to end, along with bonus game and content. The graphics and voice overs are The Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising. The animals are cute and they are far from becoming your regular helpers. As another reviewer mentioned, it seems the more games one plays the easier it gets or perhaps the devs are becoming lax, but I think it has a lot to do with the game-plan; and after playing over a hundred or so games, you do become much more experienced and quite skilled. This game is very well-organized and rational for the better part, that is.

As always, thanks to Big Fish! I like the cut scenes very much; the graphics are great; voiceovers are wonderful. The story has quite a mystery that evolves as we play the game. It's that good! I am glad that I bought this game. The animals are cute and they are far from becoming your regular helpers. I have played games that require you to repeat a minigame every time you need to "conquer" someone, etc, and the minigame itself becomes so involved and repetitive that after you do it the first few times, it just holds everything up. Even though I enjoyed the game, as always, I recommend that you try the demo to see if you will enjoy this game. I really enjoyed playing it and will look forward to playing it again in the future. Bottom line: one of the best games I have played. It is incomparable! The HOGs are really beautiful and fun to play. Patience is a virtue and eventually he got what he wanted and so did I. The voice overs, the mimics, the attention to costume details are super.

I don't want to give away Battle Slots but your method in creating a concoction for the pollen antidote from the Florist Kit is innovative and different from any other developers' methods, not that theirs isn't as good. The tools consist of an evidence board, task tab, map. Bottom line: one of the Flower games I have played. I did not buy the CE just could not get interested. The CE version of the game has collectible flower cards to find in various scenes in the Battle Slots. We also have a mini-lab as in the previous games where we can concoct various antidotes to counteract Defense of Greece poisonous pollens we encounter. Interesting storyline.

Devs, I appreciate the fact that it didn't take an hour to complete a task for a certain horse! That was annoying. Lots and lots of game play. Mini games are good but some are a little tougher to understand what they are looking for! The one complaint is that there is a slight VERY slight pause in loading before scenes and puzzles, but this may totally be my computer. I don't want to give away spoilers but your method in creating a concoction for the pollen antidote from the Florist Kit is innovative and different from any other developers' methods, not that theirs isn't as good. Didn't turn up the music, set my own level of challenge using Custom settings. As I mentioned above the HOPS were excellent and not just time fillers so that we could find an item that is needed. The CE version of the game has collectible flower cards to find in various scenes in the game. Date published: A monkey wrench, check, check, check! I am glad that I bought this game.

  8. We also have a mini-lab as in the previous games where we can concoct various antidotes to counteract the poisonous pollens we encounter. The costumes are very elaborate and great. I enjoyed the storyline, although if I want a terrific story I typically buy a book.

  9. This one does not have a journal. Challenging and the hos aren't always the same. Some are silhouette while others are the list type but no matter which type, they are interactive and some are quite different. I am glad that I bought this game. Good puzzles, graphics, interesting story line.

  10. The mini-games in European Mystery: Flowers of Death are new and different. You have the option of making the level harder than usual and I often pick the harder mode but not the hardest yet! I gave up not because it was hard but because of the slowness of the game. Date published:
