Puzzle your way through 150 perplexing levels in Ancient Egypt! In Scepter of Ra the aim is simple: fill the board by pushing the stones onto the playing field. As soon as a group of three or more stones of the same color are linked together you score points. Take on the challenge of the pharaohs and connect the hieroglyphic stones to reveal the amazing Golden Pyramid!

It doesn't tell you about the block's special power until after the level is completed. Sometimes these two stones are of different colors, other times they are the same. The cursor has a stone attached that must be placed on one of the arrows and clicked, sending the stone across the grid to bump up against another stone. In later use, it was a symbol of control over the force of chaos that Set represented. It appears as a stylized animal head at the top of a long, straight staff with a forked end. A Scepter of Ra new kind of Match 3, challenging, requires thinking and offers great fun. There are throwing arrows that you use for every match and you can change the glyphs when you see a sign near your arrow. The cursor has a stone attached that must Mahjong Royal Towers placed on one of the arrows and clicked, sending the stone across the grid to bump up against another stone. Every time you make a group of three or more you release the signs and get close to the victory. Once the game play is understood, I found it to be fun. The stones and grids increase in complexity. Glass stones are added that must be broken, locked stones must be unlocked before the stones behind it can be matched, and there are "bomb" stones that when crossed by a matching stone attach to the cursor and can be sent into the grid with the arrows, exploding and eliminating stones. They commonly occur in paintings, drawings, and carvings of gods, and often parallel with emblems such as the ankh and the djed -pillar. Otherwise, a very addicting game. The stones and grids increase in complexity.
